Gamesnet underwent sort of an internal power split, with the original owner coming back to assert themself, and the people who had been runnning the network leaving to create their own network.
The new network is called GameSurge and you should be able to find all the channels you are missing at irc.gamesurge.net |

they also had a nice DOSS attack so they put servers down and also upgraded a few of them 
they are all back onine now tho. |
