Setting Times for Matches

Hi All,

Well, they say life is just a bunch of learning experiences. AND, we learned a lesson this past week. We were the home team this week. THe team we were playing asked to bump the match to 9:00. Well, we said "No Problem" since it was only an hour. So, as our clan regularly does, we had a short practice before the match. Then, at 9:00, the other clan did not show up? OW... We finally got in touch with one of the and guess what they said... "We said CENTRAL time". DOH!

BY the time we started playing the match at about 10:20 PM... A couple of us old guys were tired. In addition, we had lost some of that "fire" we had built ourselves up to at 9:00! We barely lost the match. I am pretty sure we would have won if we played at 9:00 when we were psyched and ready!

The point: Communication is the lifeline of any business or organization! When you set your match time... better be really descriptive on time zone!
