Championship has Arrived
|
Another season is almost over, but the Championship match has to be played. This season the 2 teams going head to head are, MDC69 Maddeerman Clan and StromTroopers. Good luck to both of you and win or lose you both deserve to be Champs. The map for this match will be changed to dod_crash instead of dod_notorange. Crash is just an updated version with just a few changes, so be sure to get it uploaded for Mondays Match. You can find it in the files section on the left.
Also I would like to thank the clans who have stuck it out with us this season. Again, we are hoping to get more clan's to join but it's been a tough road. We hope everyone will return next season which will start Sept 10. Due to Labor day being on Sept 3rd, matches will be the week after.

Playoff Round 2

Schedules and brackets are up. Also Match Com has been activated for this weeks matches so please use it to set up your matches. The rules have been updated to reflect MATCH COM's use and abuse of it. So look at the rules 6.4 Match Protocol for the update. I have also made some changes to rule 6.6 Forfeitures and Byes so be sure to read them as well. Any problems or questions please let me know. Hope you enjoy the new feature.

MATCH COM A NEW FEATURE FOR IGL
|
As we continue to try to make the web site easier and better for all the clans, we hope this NEW addition will make things go smoother, so with that said, starting next week, Aug. 20th IGL will have MATCH COM to setup all matches instead of using emails and IRC. This should make things much easier on all and there will be no excuses for not contacting your opponents. I will be updating the rules section before next week to give instructions on how to use the MATCH COM and the purpose for it. There will also be an email sent out to all leaders on this matter. This will be a good test period for the MATCH COM, to get all the bugs if any worked out, then next season it will be good to go. So if you find any problems, please be sure to notify me via IRC and I will get the problems fixed as soon as possible.
However,IRC will still be used to finalize things and also from now on it will but up to the Clan leaders and schedulers to find a match if they have a FF win. It will be your responsibility to be in irc to make contact with another FF win team, set the match up and most IMPORTANTLY, contact Jaz so she can make a schedule change to report the scores.
We hope everyone enjoys using the NEW MATCH COM and it will be a valuable tool for teams to use and communicate. As always, there will be certain rules about using MATCH COM, so be sure to check the rules page for the update. Any one abusing it will receive a suspension.

Here we go again, the playoffs are here. Just a reminder and a notice to the new teams, All captains whether you WIN or LOSE must upload the following SS's.
Home team: rcon status and endgame from both rds.
Vistors: status and endgame from both rds.
NOTICE: If one or both rds are played on the Vistors server then that captain must upload the rcon status and endgame SS's. Again, WIN OR LOSE. Also, server logs may be requested as well.
