Its that time again, playoff brackets are up!! As you know Match Com is also up and running. If you fail to use Match Com for scheduling matches you will be eliminated from playoffs. The Rules (6.4 Match Protocol) have been updated to reflect MATCH COM and how to use it. Please note there are also penalties for abusing it as well.
As always, Team with the higher seed is the HOME TEAM. Visitors may request 2nd rd to be played on their server as long as there are no ping issues as per the rules.
REMEMBER - Again this season, I am requiring the Leaders of both teams to upload the Rcon Status, Endgame SS's of both rds. & Logs from the server the match was played on. If match is played on both servers, then I need each leader to do the Rcon Status. The Visitor’s leader must upload the Status and Endgame SS of both rds if it was played on the Home team server. Failing to do so will result in suspensions. Please use the Submit Demos tab on the left and files must in a zipped format. If the file is over 40mb, then split each rd into separate zips. Also, please name the file as example (dgf vs legion). I do not need any other player’s ss's except the leaders of both teams, win or lose. Demos are not required but my be request at any time.
Let’s enjoy the playoffs. Please refrain from unsportsmanship conduct. Leaders only are to converse during match play starting when ss are being taken. At this time no other clan members are to use mm1 for anything. :).

Week 8 and New Rules for Match Com

Schedules are up for Week 8 and so MATCH COM is now active and ready to go. Please use the match com to set up all matches for this week. If there are any problems please let me know, so that I can get them fixed as quickly as possiblebr.
The Rules (6.4 Match Protocol)have been updated to reflect MATCH COM and how to use it. Please note there are also pentalities for abusing it as well.
EDIT: I have also made some changes to the 6.6 Forfeitures and Bye's, so please be sure to read them as well.

MATCH COM A NEW FEATURE FOR IGL

As we continue to try to make the web site easier and better for all the clans, we hope this NEW addition will make things go smoother, so with that said, starting next week, Aug. 20th IGL will have MATCH COM to setup all matches instead of using emails and IRC. This should make things much easier on all and there will be no excuses for not contacting your opponents. I will be updating the rules section before next week to give instructions on how to use the MATCH COM and the purpose for it. There will also be an email sent out to all leaders on this matter. This will be a good test period for the MATCH COM, to get all the bugs if any worked out, then next season it will be good to go. So if you find any problems, please be sure to notify me via IRC and I will get the problems fixed as soon as possible.
However,IRC will still be used to finalize things and also from now on it will but up to the Clan leaders and schedulers to find a match if they have a FF win. It will be your responsibility to be in irc to make contact with another FF win team, set the match up and most IMPORTANTLY, contact Jaz so she can make a schedule change to report the scores.
We hope everyone enjoys using the NEW MATCH COM and it will be a valuable tool for teams to use and communicate. As always, there will be certain rules about using MATCH COM, so be sure to check the rules page for the update. Any one abusing it will receive a suspension.

Week 7

Week 7 is up. Please make your contacts as soon as possible. Lets try not to have any ff wins this week!!! I will be away on vaction 8-11 thru 8-16 if you have any questions/problems, pm Buzzard.

Week 6 and other stuff!!!!

Week 6 is now up!! I have noticed a few things lately that I believe need to be addressed. 1st If you have a match and the other team ff’s you can idle in #igl-dod and see if anyone else in your division also had a ff and if you find someone to play just pm me after the match and let me know who played and all scores. If you just want a ff win, then take that. But most clans like a match rather than a ff win! I will stress this… It is up to the team leader to find a new match. It’s not up to me. When the new season starts it will be a season of 10 weeks no preseason will be played. So we will just play regular matches that count. So if you plan on taking ff wins all season you have to know if you get 4 ff wins you will not be in playoffs. So please try to get matches when you can. Remember you can only have matches with other clans in your division.
2nd A new rule has been added. 6.2 -- Match Format. Please read it. This goes into effect immediately. Good Luck in this weeks matches..
