Last night Mundy, Vegeta, and myself got together to discuss the future of the IGL's DoD Administration. After a good discussion, Mundy made the decision to step aside and allow Vegeta to run the league.
Further conversation involved Mundy offering suggestions and advise to Vegeta and the indication that Mundy himself will no longer be a part of the team as he made the decision to step down from all Administrative duties with the full awareness that he was welcome to remain a part of the team.
There will be, and have been already, a few changes to the Administration team. Vegeta plans on watching the current Admin and any new Admin who come onto the team to see who steps forth with that extra effort and deserves to be given higher positions within the Administrative team.
Matches should begin once again with only the single break in gameplay. We once again apologize for the problems over the last week. Watch for a news posting by Vegeta that should get things moving once again.

Concerning The Holiday
|
Something I forgot to mention in my news post is this coming weekend is 4th of July weekend. We at IGL have taken this under consideration and want you to know you can play your match anytime from now till next wednesday (9th) 12:00 (midnight) east.
If you simply can't get a match together due to holiday the match will simply be deleted with no credit or forfeit. However, if you do play match, your clan will be credited. Enjoy the 4th and don't burn yourselves!!!

Final Preseason Is Here
|
Everything looks to be going very smoothly, this will be the final pre-season week then we will start the official season! Welcome Band of Brothers and Quite Painful to IGL, this will be their first week. Also take note that the new octinium is due to be released very soon, if it is released before sunday, IT WILL BE REQUIRED! I would also like to thank most clans for their quick reporting of matches, it makes things much easier for me. Take note of a couple more things. First if you reschedule a match you need to go to irc or my email and say hey vegeta letting you know we rescheduled for such and such time and day. Any time before wednesday midnight is acceptable. Also the map is merderet, a map that was not included in the official dod release. The map will however be available in our file section. GL to all teams in this final pre-season match-up.

Season Preview.

After tonights preseason matches I will require some info from the leaders of the clans for a Season Preview! I want both Upper and Lower divisions to reply! Please send me screenshots (scores of your final preseason match) and some overview comments regarding your final preseason match, as well as some comments about how you think you will do in the up-coming season to berge@sunwave.net. Your co-operation in this helps your clan get some coverage, helps IGL raise interest in the community, and makes the season interesting and more enjoyable for everyone.
