Week 4, New Clans, New Site and Clan Cash

Greetings all, we head into week 4 as what was supposed to be the following of CAL's map rotation. That was before I learned that they were going to make the map thunder. I'm not about to make everyone go download this map with it's craptastic rain sprites and general annoyance of a map. Instead the map will be donner, a much better version of thunder. I will however be following CAL's rotation once they stop playing games with the maps.
As you can see the site has a new skin layout. This was all made by yours truely and is phase 1 of what the new site is going to be like. We will be generating a whole new site but that will take some time as we save all the data from this one and convert it to the next one. So for the time being we are going to stick with this while we work on the brand new one.
I would like to welcome the following clans to IGL. The Void and Assholes on Drugs. Well see what kind of clans they shape up to be in IGL. I have my eye on a couple clans that seem to be starting to fail, you know who you are so start getting it together.
Finally the clan cash option. I have decided to just use the rematch option for now. So this is how it will work. A clan can offer a rematch for $3,000 to a clan they lost to if they want. The winning clan can deny the rematch if they want. If the clan accepts and wins again, they get the $3,000 added to their bank. Only 1 rematch is allowed. that means on the second time around if the winning team lost they may not rematch them. This stops it from going back and forth. All rematch battles are played the following week along with everyone else on that weeks map. So there is no extra day to play it on and therefore should not be a problem. Clans have till Wednesday to inform me that they want one, and if the other clan accepts I will grant it and fix the schedule to reflect it.

The clan cash option is soon to arrive. I am going to think it over a lil more and have the full layout of what clan cash will be used for sometime in the very near future.

Couple Files, Some In Some Out, And Some Clan Input

Ok here we go into week 3, things look to be running pretty good. Matches in on time, which brings you fast schedule. Ok there are 2 file updates located in our file section that you are going to need. First is the map, dod_zafod. Your clan needs to download and install this map in order to participate in the next weeks matchup. This will be the last time I schedule map after CAL's rotation. Once I learn what their playoff maps will be, it will be up before CAL plays and not after, and every map following that unless CAL is on break or something like that. The other small but very useful update is to the IGL server config. I have added the line mp_clan_readyrestart 1 to it. This makes it to where you can simply type the word ready by itself and once clan leaders from both sides type the word ready, the countdown begins. You can either download the file or you can add that line yourself to it.
The old bug has come back, bringing back title shots from like a year ago. I have no idea what causes it but we will try to squash it once and for all. You will notice the week is 346, this is just a random number that removes the bug, which is even more perplexing of how the bug works. So untill we squash this bug the week number will be random, which will effect absolutely nothing of how we run things, its just 3 numbers in a box that kills a bug to us.
Next I would like to welcome the following clans to IGL. 101st Airborne Division, Justice League Of America, and Raging Aga|nst Freaks. GL to you guys and thank you for choosing IGL. You will find I run a tight ship here.
Now for the not so good. There was 3 clans I had to remove for various reasons. 2 of them simply were not active and the other needs to learn what it's like to play in a league. That means using people that are on the roster, and not quitting in the middle of a match. I run a tight league here, and stuff like that is not welcome. Feel free to send me an e-mail if any of you feel I have made a mistake or your clan is ready to actually participate. I always give second chances.
The final topic is the clan cash. This has been discussed and the only viable solution we came up with was a rematch option. This is how it will work. A rematch will cost $2000 and only the losing clan can issue one. Rematches can only be issued once every 3 weeks minimum. So if you use a rematch, you have to wait 3 weeks before you can do it again. We are however open to suggestions from clans on other ways of using it. Lots of Updates!

Greetings all, the official season 2 has begun and as you can see some things have changed.
You will notice in rankings that only 1 match is displayed. This is because I have removed the preseason wins and losses since we are beginning a new season. Before you think all is lost with your wins from pre-season this is not the case. All matches your clan has played in will be in your clan database forever and ever.
Soldat will be doing random demo checks on clans however he see's fit, whether it be pick your name from a hat or whatever. It will be in your clans best interest to have them and keep them for at least 3 days. If you do not provide Soldat with the demos he asks for that player faces 2 week suspension and your match overturned. So the answer is simple, record or recieve penalties.
I have also added a Clan Relations and Predicitons admin catagory for this season. Shiv from DaNiNja is the admin there and will be posting his predictions on 1911. The web address is http://64.80.9.55/ also if you would like you can send shiv an email on how your match went so he can get a better feeling of your clan. You will find his email in the staff link to the left.
Here is concerning current Champion. Champion during the season will be determined by rankings all the way to playoffs. When playoffs arrive, there is no champion, and the winner of the playoffs will be the final champs and recieve the IGL Gold Cup with their clan name and their own names on it.
You will notice some clan movement as well. The clans I have moved from lower to upper and vice versa have no wins. Don't fret on that though, as it will not effect your chances to the playoffs if you do well.
There are some clans trying to join from South America. From past experiences it is bad to have clans from NA play clans from SA. Pings are just way off and causes all kinds of problems. So if you are from South America and want to compete here you will have to get me at least 8 clans from SA and I will make a South American ladder for you guys to play in.
The file section is updated. It was brought to my attention that the clan map pack link was dead so I moved it to the IGL website to be hosted. Download that if you haven't already and update your server with it, not your PC. Map Pack is mandatory and is so in most if not all leagues.
Finally I am going to address the couple clans who have a forfeit or 2. I want you to know that I am not leniant on stuff like that at all. Theres a couple clans who are on their last chance to get it together or you will be moved to inactive until you guys have people who know how to show for a match.

As stated by Karsiss below, I am now the undisputed Head Admin for IGL DoD. This was the final kink in the IGL structure and now that I am uncontested I will move forward with a well oiled League Administration. You will notice some things during this coming season with me in charge now. The following WILL happen...
Schedules will be up no later than Tuesday night unless a clan must reschedule. They then have till Wednesday Midnight est to have it played. There will be a playoff bracket for both upper and lower. I also want you to know that we are here to help all clans. If you have ANY questions or concerns feel free to contact me or any of my admins, that is what we are here for. This season will run very smoothly, timely, and respectfully under my lead.
Now with that being said I noticed 2 matches went on even though schedule was on hold. Now I understand you eagerness to play the match, but I cannot score them as it would be unfair to the other teams and the win/loss ratio. So you guys will be playing each other again.
I would like to welcome 2 more clans to IGL. Plan-b //Plan b Gamers who will probably shoot to upper, and {D.D}!!!D-DAY!!! I will add them to the lower matches and they will be playing each other. Cheers to a new season with new leadership. :)
