Week 3
|
Schedules are up and ready to go. Be sure to use Match Com. Please respond as soon as possible and before the deadline default time of 24 hours before the match and dont wait until match day or right before match to find out what is going on. You will receive a ff loss if you do not use it before the deadline.

Make sure you run the IGL server cfg for your match and only Matchcomm MUST be used to schedule your matches with your opponent.

Champions of Season 17 and Dispute
|
The Champions of this season is as follows. Center Tier: K2 WarCrew, for Lower Tier, K2-2 WarCrew. Congrats to both teams.
There was a dispute filed in the Center Tier Championship match between K2 and Fusion. The dispute consisted of, someone entering the match as a K2 member join their team the began tking most of K2’s team which allowed Fusion to get an all cap, plus a player from Fusion, Milo demos were requested to be pulled. The results of the championship dispute is as follows
During the investigation of the dispute to find out who the player was that join and tk’ed K2’s team, we found out it was a player named, k-2] Sun Virgin 69.118.114.167:27005 who used SimonLi SteamID 0:0:9687858 but was playing from BoB Bobson IP address 69.118.114.167:27005 STEAM_ 0:0:6212471, which also belongs to Chex Mix Steam_0:0:6212471 was the player who did the tking of K2’s players. Because there is no way to prove if this player was affiliated with either team we can not do anything to either side, however because of the following statement this is null and void.
During the investigation a player by the name d3k1n pm’ed me in IRC and admitted that he was the sniper, player name positive on Fusion’s team and was a ringer. After doing some research, we found this to be true. We found that the Leader of Fusion, Jesus made a dummy account, Actual account “Jesus” 76.99.109.14 c-76-99-109-14.hsd1.pa.comcast.net “dummy account” “positive” 76.99.109.14 c-76-99-109-14.hsd1.pa.comcast.net. The rcon screen shots showed player “positive” STEAM_0:0:15549830 IP: 74.241.190.178 BellSouth.net Inc. Therefore with this evidence and according to the rules and unanimous decision by the IGL Admins, player “Jesus” is suspended 3 matches for allowing a ringer to play in a Championship match and 3 matches if the leader willingly and knowingly allows such player to use either a bogus account (a player on the roster but not an actual player) either made by himself or someone else for the purpose of deceiving IGL Admins or other teams or uses an actual player’s real account from IGL for allowing and willingly using a ringer and match is overturned. Also, the player “d3k1n” aka “positive” is banned from IGL for admitting and being used as a ringer in this match. K2 will be crowned as champions of Season 17.
IGL rule:6.4.2 -- Prematch (teams in the server, before the match starts: If a ringer or suspended player is used during a playoff match including the Championship match and it is found out by the Admins of IGL and not by the opposing team, the Admins reserve the right to intervene and will overturn the match based on any evidence they deem necessary to prove the infraction. Penalties will be much harsher than they would be in a regular season match. Anywhere from 3 match suspension to expulsion from the League. Leaders will be suspended for 3 matches for allowing a ringer or suspended player to play. He will also receive a 3 match suspension, if the leader willingly and knowingly allows such player to use either a bogus account (a player on the roster but not an actual player) either made by himself or someone else for the purpose of deceiving IGL Admins or other teams or uses an actual player’s real account. 2nd offense will be an IGL ban and the team removed from IGL.
Due to this the problem that occurred during the match, it is highly suggested that all teams make sure your change your server password every week. If it is found that any team gives out a server password for the intent of disrupting a IGL match to a player and is found affiliated with an IGL team playing a match, that team will be expelled from the league.
