Playoffs Round 2
|
The second round of playoffs are posted.
Make sure that during playoffs, that you follow the IGL rules on using the IGL config only, rates, tags and names, demos for both rounds with screen shots and etc.
Because of clans not following the rules, the following have been suspended. I'm going to start posting who is suspended from now on so clans start to realize that the rules are taken very serious in IGL so clans can enjoy themselves.
1 week suspension for Rates, Boosting, and Player Name violations: starting Sept 20,2004 - ending Sept 27,2004 for [R.U.N.S.] Mallards - 0:0:1760113 , [R.U.N.S.] Jujubes - 0:0:226073 , and [R.U.N.S.] EagleEyes - 0:1:3203119 .
1 week suspension for Rates: starting Sept 20,2004 - ending Sept 27,2004 for .cTk^Sir.$p00n - 0:0:471644.
We had a tremendous amount of disputes this past Sunday that we had to look at. So please use your head this round of playoffs and follow the rules. I'm starting to get grumpy. :)

Playoffs Round 1

The first round of playoffs are posted. It was really hard to decide who played in lower. I decided to go with the most wins. With tie
breakers I used the most 'points for' to come up with the 8 teams that will play. I think this is the fairest way to do it.
Make sure that during playoffs, that you follow the IGL rules on using the IGL config only, rates, tags and names, demos for both rounds with screen shots and etc.
Also, we will have the " playoff bracket " ready for your viewing.

Kicked and Banned

Clan xGz is no longer in IGL, because of the actions of there Team Leader z0llie, who is now banned from IGL, along with Porny1 and Defunct. This clan seems to think they can do as they please and that the IGL Rules do not apply to them. Well they do, and you broke several in the last 24 hours. From the verbal abuse that you did to the team you played, ( Which consisted of CAL and XPL Admins by the way ) to the verbal abuse you did to me, the HEAD IGL Admin, to DEAD who is an IGL Division Admin for Lower, and covering for Center Tier as well until Princess comes back. You do not kick and ban IGL admins that are requested to come on to the server the dispute is happening on, and talk trash in mIRC to IGL Admins. Because of your disrespect for people in this league, the IGL Admins decided that the whole team needs to banned permanetly. You have been PURGED.
I also would like to add, but was in no way a part of our decision on banning you, that I noticed your suspension in CAL after the fact
also under clan Purge, zollie, Reason: Unsportsmanlike conduct. MM! violation. Added one week for playing match under a suspension.
You people have proved to IGL and other leagues you have no respect for anybody, including yourselves.
I have also informed other leagues of your actions. This kind of abuse from you will not be tolerated in this league or any other league. So good riddance to you.

Tags and Names

I want to clarify how I am going to handle Member NAME and Team TAG violations so we don't have a nightmare happening during matches.
When both teams are in game before the match, and you are checking steam ID's, if all Steam ID's match the listed Steam ID's on that team's IGL base or 6vs6 roster, then PLAY THE MATCH. If one of the members Name or Tag is wrong, or it is changed during the match, I need the team leader from the opposing team to type in console
"status", and get a screenshot of it showing the Names and Steam ID's and send it to me after the match is completed. If you want to take a
screenshot of the score board also, this is optional, but will help. All screen shots will be uploaded to an FTP site in jpg form, in Zip or rar compression, under the the following name. ( TeamName vs TeamName ) Ex: SKULLvs#U
I will enforce this with a one week suspension. So please use the correct Team TAG and Member NAME you have posted on your IGL teams roster. Remember team leaders, this is also a mark against your team, so please control your team. Remember, 3 marks against your team in one season and your clan is out of IGL, period.
I will be also posting the TAG and NAME violators in the news section, so team leaders know who is suspended for round one of the playoffs.
With playoffs starting in one week, I suggest everybody follow this rule.

Week 8
|
This is the final week before playoffs. Only 8 teams from each division will be picked to play. Some teams are in a tight race and this match will make the difference if you make the playoffs.
Remember to make sure your team's rates are correct and that your team uses the correct clan tag and name in game.
Any new teams wishing to join IGL, now is the time to do it while playoffs are going on.
