Preseason Week 1
|
The schedule is up for the new season. The map is Chemille. We will be following the CAL rotation this season again. Rosters are NOT locked during preseason.
Congrats to skull for winning the Upper tier
Congrats to ]KAN[ for winning the Center tier.
Congrats to sec` for winning the Lower tier.
Good job teams.
You will notice some teams got moved up or down depending on how you did this past season or where your team is placed in CAL. To make matches more fair to each team. During Preseason we may make some more adjustments if needed.
Make sure all teams have the new IGL Rateenforce config working for this Sunday's match. If you can't figure it out, contact one of us admins for instruction. Remember, this does NOT put adminmod on your server, just metamod.
Welcome Ta|on back as the Center Tier admin. Teams in center will go to him with your questions.
There is still time for clans to join IGL. So please hurry and get signed up ASAP. I WILL BE SCHEDULING the first preseason match tomorrow or friday to give new teams time to finish signing up.
I have been told that if everything goes right, we will be starting the new season on the NEW IGL website in 2 weeks. So preseason will be on this old site. Cross your fingers.

Championship Match !!!
|
Congratulations to the six teams that made it to the title match in there division. The official map this week for the title matches is
dod_sherman2 or dod_railroad. If teams can't agree on the map, the default map will be dod_sherman2.
NEW CLAN SIGNUPS: There is still time to get your clan signed up for IGL. The new season will start Sunday, May 22nd.
IGL will be following the CAL map rotation again for next season.
Again, congrats to all the finalist teams.

Mother's Day
|
There will be NO matches this Sunday to celebrate Mother's Day.
Give your mom a card, flowers, and take her out to eat. It is the least you can do for her putting up with you all these years. : )
The Championship Matches will resume May 15th. Clans can play there matches on either dod_railroad or dod_sherman2 to follow the CAL map schedule. If clans cannot agree, then dod_sherman2 is the default map.

New Team Signups
|
We are moving teams around right now to get ready for next season while the playoffs are going on. The rankings page does not reflect this season, but does reflect what we are thinking for next season. To see what is happening for this season for playoffs, go to the
" playoff bracket " that we setup for your viewing. If you are in the wrong tier let me know.
DoDGuard is still not manditory in IGL because of it not working on some servers, but rateenforce is. If a clan is running DoDGuard on there server, here are the requirements that clans must follow.
1. Dodguard is not required, but is encouraged to be used in an IGL match play.
2. If the server is running Dodguard, the visiting team may NOT request it to be disabled.
3. A team may not use the sv_globalscreen command more than 2 times per round.
4. Forcing more than 2 screenshots per round will result in diciplinary action up to and including player or team suspensions.
5. Dodguard screenshots must be included along with all other required screenshots. Failure to do so will be considered as a cheating dispute.
New Team signups get your rosters, IRC channel, and website up so we can activate you.

Playoffs Week 2
|
The second round of playoffs are posted. I'm just going to say the same thing I said last post.
Make sure that during playoffs, that you follow the IGL rules on using the IGL config with the RateEnforcer only, correct tags and names, and have your demos for both rounds with required screen shots ready after the match in zip or rar form in case we need them. Name your zip or rar with your clan tag and player name. Ex: ( skull.45 ) is what mine would be.
IGL WILL be pulling random demos each week for playoffs. Failure to present the requested zip or rar within 2 hours after the request has been made by the admin may result in suspensions, overturned matches, forfeits or other disciplinary actions.
Also, we will have the
" playoff bracket " ready for your viewing.
