Halloween Break
|
It has been decided that all IGL matches this Monday, October 31st will be postponed so all you people can go Trick or Treating. From what I saw from this past Monday's showing, or NO SHOW, that clans need to get ther clan ready for match play.
We still need you clans to get your matches played ASAP to clean up this past week.
Happy Halloween
Matches will resume Monday, November 7th. Enjoy the break and get your rosters ready and cleaned up.

Admins Wanted
|
The DOD division still needs 2 Admins. If you are interested, just click the Admin. Application in the left menu to apply. I need one admin for Lower Tier and an AC Admin. Remember you must be 18 years of age to apply.

Preseason Week 1
|
The schedule is up for this Monday's match. The map will be dod_harrington. Make sure you get in touch with the clan you play with ASAP to set up the match.
Make sure you have the IGL cfg loaded on your server if you are the home team.

DOD 1.3, Source or Both
|
This is for Team Leaders only.
If your team is on 1.3, all you have to do to join source is login, and then click the
'HOME' button in the upper left corner. Then go down to the DoDS6vs6 button and click it. In
the left menu click 'JOIN'. Now your team is in the dodS6vs6 league. Now go to the top menu
bar and click 'MANAGE CLAN'. Then click 'View/Edit Clan Roster' link. Now you will see 2
columns. one for DoD6vs6 and one for DoDS6vs6. Make your team members active in the division
you wish to play in by making sure that after each name has an 'A' showing for active. Or an
'I' if inactive. Then click the submit button to save. NOTE: Your team CAN play both.
SPECIAL NOTE: make sure your roster shows up correctly under the correct division as
active or that member can't play. 'BASE' ROSTER MEANS NOTHING ANYMORE. If your team is
playing 1.3, then make sure your roster is listed under DoD6vs6. If your team is playing
source, then make sure your roster is listed under DoDS6vs6. If your team is playing both,
your roster must be listed under both DoD6vs6 and DoDS6vs6. ( Then make sure all 'A' 's are
showing to the right of your members name ) If they are not listed, they can't play that
division because they are inactive. We will be firm on this.
The roster lock works now. When the roster lock is in effect for a division that column will
turn grey. You will find that you can't make that member active until the roster lock is
off. You can still add members to your base roster anytime. But not for the division they
want to play in. Which means they can't play until they are listed in that division or have
an 'A' beside there name.
If your team joins source and doesn't want to be in 1.3 anymore let us know so we can put
your team as inactive in 1.3

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are finally ready to start the new season. We have made some changes for the coming season. So please read carefully.
DoD6vs6 will now be for DOD 1.3 matches that will be played on Monday nights at 8pm EST. This should be an ok time frame for teams that are still going to play CAL 1.3 Monday nights at 9pm EST.
DoDS6vs6 will be for DoD SOURCE matches that will be played on Sunday night at 8pm EST. This is our default time. This should be an ok time frame for teams that are still going to play TPG Source Sunday nights at 9pm EST.
Teams that want to play DOD SOURCE need to get signed up under the DODS6vs6 section. It is very easy to do. All that needs to be done is for the Team Leader to login to the site. Go to the DoDS6vs6 Division, go to the left menu section and click 'join'. The team will automatically be joined to the DODS6vs6. It is that easy.
Team Leaders: The roster lock now works. It is up to you to make sure that the members on your team are listed as active or show up with an 'A' beside there name on your roster. Just having a member on the BASE roster will NOT be acceptable anymore. So if the member is listed on the base roster with an 'I' beside there name (inactive) they CANNOT play. Only members that show up under the DoD6vs6 or DoDS6vs6 listing can now play. NO EXCEPTIONS.
The required configs are in the 'File' section that need to be installed on your server for IGL match play. The CAL cfg is not acceptable. Matches will be overturned if the wrong cfg is used.
Preseason is tenatively set to start on Monday, October 24, 2005 for DoD6vs6 and Sunday, October 23, 2005 for DoDS6vs6. Please get your rosters in shape before this time and make sure you are in the right Division that you want to play (1.3 or source).
IGL is now taking applications for Admins to help out in DoD6vs6 and DoDS6vs6 Divisions. If you are interested, go the left menu and click 'Admin. Application' to sign up. I will then contact you to do an interview at that time.
