A Team Ban
|
IGL has strived to make this league enjoyable for all to play and a place to play DoD 1.3. But when a team gets out of control and makes it not fun for the rest, by maliciously, Disrespectful, and a mass disregard of the leagues rules and other members of IGL, then its time to say good bye. Team exe has now been ban from IGL for a list of league violations and including the last one which knowing and willfully reporting a false score in Mondays match with substandard.
IGL will not put up with this kind of beahavior and will take the necessary steps to ensure that while playin in IGL, teams will not be, disrespectfull or do as they please. There are rules and they will be followed or you will suffer the consequences.

Week 8
|
Ok this will be the last match of the regular season and the playoffs will begin on Feb. 19th. There will be new requirements for the playoffs this season and the following will be required from all teams.
Each team Leader must submit all required screens from both rds, this includes whom ever server is played on must include the rcon statas and visitors must include the status screen shot, Home team will submit both rd logs, if the match was played on the Visitors server, then they must submit the server logs. This must be done in each rd of the playoffs and must be done within 24hrs of the match. Please make you sure you zip the all required files into one file then upload. Failing to do so may result in an overturned match and suspensions of the Leaders. PM me in IRC for the ftp information, you must be idling the IGL IRC Channel the night of the match to receive this information. I will not hunt you down to remind you of this
requirement.
I will try to have the brackets up Tue. nite baring any disputes. The maps that will be played will be posted tomorrow. Good Luck to all the teams, and enjoy the playoffs.

Email Problems
|
Just letting everyone know we have a little problem on the web site and I need your help to finish getting it fixed.
For some reason and I guess for a while now and we just now found it, the emails on each person’s player page is not working correctly. I have had several emails returned undeliverable or this account does not exist. So what I need everyone on each team to do is follow the instructions below so that we can get this fixed. Your help is very important because these emails are used by me to send out to each player incase of questions about their accounts, and other matters. Also most important disputes and if its not working or you have the wrong email, then you will not receive a email for requested demos and may be subject to suspension and or expulsion from the league. So all leaders please have each member on your team to do the following.
First, open a new browser to www.ironglove.com 2nd then log in. 3rd click on MY INFO at the top of the page and it will take you to your personal player page, 4th, delete the email address you have there and retype it. If it isn’t the correct one or is not a valid email then please put a Valid email. Finally, scroll to the bottom and click submit. This is the most important part, because if you fail to click submit then you will not correct the problem. You email may seem to be fine to you but, I assure you it’s not. I would appreciate everyone’s help on this so we can have the web working 100% again as before. Please get this done as quickly as possible. I thank you for you time and devotion to IGL

Reversal Decision on Bans and a Suspension

Ok, in one of Mondays matches V2 vs CNS there were problems due to several things happening and all of this could have been avoided if both teams followed this rule and make sure all admin mods or either paused, shut off or taken off their servers:
6.4.2 -- Prematch (teams in the server, before the match starts)
**If there is a problem with the server/players/etc. LEAVE THE SERVER AND CONTACT AN ADMIN. DO NOT STAY AND PLAY IT OUT. IF YOU GO LIVE YOU HAVE 10 MINUTES LEEWAY TIME IF A PROBLEM ARISES TO LEAVE. IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE AND PLAY IT OUT, YOU ACCEPT IT. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO SOMEONE CHEATING.**
So since they did not, a decision was made with the evidence presented to me on a totally different matter and after further review, I will reverse my decision on the bans given out and one suspension. I will extend an apology and my sincere regrets to FakeTalent aderuwe and his ban will be reversed and be reinstated to the Fake Talent roster due to the problems of the server during the match .I will also reverse my decision on V2 RedRum due to problems with the server during the match. I will not reverse the suspension on V2 Wookie, his suspension will stand as is.
I have warned teams about this problem before and we still seem to have some clans that are not adhereing to the warning and rules. For the last time, ALL ADMIN MODS MUST BE EITHER TAKEN OFF, PAUSED, SHUT DOWN DURING ANY IGL 1.3 MATCHES. THE BEST THING TO STOP PROBMLEMS LIKE THIS FROM ARISING IS TO TAKE ALL ADMIN MODS OFF AND USE RCON ONLY.
